Prepare Your Package
Do not forget to choose the right packaging materials and packaging methods for your product, to buffer and seal your products correctly. Remember that when you pack vulnerable items, you don’t pack too much, but don’t leave empty space in the box to move your items. The solution to this problem is to use your wrinkled newspaper and / or bubble wrap as a filler. You want your items to be sleek and safe during transport, so don’t be shy with bubble wrap or duct tape.
You need a lot to fill your box properly, and the last thing to do is skimp on packaging materials . For our simulated movement, we wrapped each plate in a foam bag. Like wrapping paper, foam bags are great for protecting your dishes from scratches and bumps, but never use foam bags alone. Of course, a moving company or a packaging service can be expensive. So if you are more likely to die (and your budget can’t handle the cost of replacing some broken items), but you are not sure how to pack your things safely, we support you.
Then you can put those socks in your sneakers for extra protection. Roll up lamps with dresses, enveloping cups and drinking glasses on T-shirts, wear blankets and duvets to protect small furniture and order random clothing to box and secure empty space. Wrap each plate in bubble wrap, secure it with a piece of duct tape and store it vertically.
For other abnormally shaped pieces, wrap them in the newspaper, stick them tightly and then wrap them back in bubble wrap. Use foam covers for delicate stitches or edges and never send your boxes too much. When stacking parts, use flexible cardboard between layers and go for double wall cabinets.
I like to use a thick piece of painter’s tape for this, so the number is easy to locate later and it will not damage items that are not in the box. Write in your list the corresponding number and a short but solid fedex holding locations description of the item or what is in the box. When it’s time to download, you can check your list to make sure nothing is missing during the move, and if you did, you will immediately know what it was.
Books are heavy and if boxes collapse they can do a lot of damage to furniture or other fragile items. If you know you’re going to move in a few months, deliver the packaging materials by storing boxes and bubble wrap from packages. Take the extra time to protect larger furniture before moving. Also label the wires, drawers, doors and everything you need to remove to find out where you are going when you put it back together. Place screws and bolts in plastic bags and glue them on the back of the furniture.
Give up everything, especially the items you know you want to unpack as soon as possible. This makes it easy when it’s time to unpack: you know exactly where to find what you can just see from the box. Protect fragile items with wrapping paper, bubble wrap or blankets. For each vulnerable item you pack, use a lot of paper grouped and filled in. Never place these items freely in boxes without extra pillow.
Seal the packaging with adhesive tape before placing it in a wrapping paper box. As you start packing your old place, start packing all the items you rarely use. Start with everything in the attic and garage that is not yet in containers or storage boxes. (Even if it is, you have to tag! Then continue with items in your home that are not part of your daily life, such as books, movies and artwork. When it comes to using bubble wrap, remember that if you move heavier, strange or pointed elements, bubble wrap is likely to explode during movement.Tags: package, prepare
